How to sew a simple mini skirt

Hi!

A few weeks ago I dyed this white t shirt brown
thinking that it would be nice to make a skirt out of it,
this winter I'm going to ware it with a thick jumper, maybe a long cardigan and warm leggings,
 I love winter clothes!

I cut two squares with the desired length & width , remembering that the waist had to be added

I shaped the squares by cutting 2 cms from the side (top)

for the waist band, cut 2 pieces of fabric, mine were 20 cm long and same width as the top of the squares

It should look something like this

 Sew the waist pieces together

sew the sides of the skirt together

To differentiate the front from the back cut a couple of cm down from the center

and finally, add the waist band

 Et voila!

Homemade hummus

Hi,

I've been home for a couple of weeks, and made this yummy-licious recipe with my mum,
I remember when I was a kid we use to eat it quite often
I must say, this hummus is not like the ones you find in the supermarket, it's less runny and much more compact, perfect to eat it as a side with vegetables, rice, or as a spread on toast,
to have it as a dipping sauce, you will need to add some of the liquid from the cans.

Ingredients
400 grms canned chickpeas (already cooked)
juice of half a lemon
3 cloves of garlic
sesame seeds (toasted in a pan until golden brown)
5 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
salt
paprika (decoration)

Rinse the chickpeas in cold water and tip into the food processor, add the lemon juice, garlic, toasted
sesame seeds, olive oil & salt (if you want to make it as a dipping sauce, add some of the reserved liquid from the cans).
when the mixture is well combined and smooth, pour it into a bowl , sprinkle with paprika and drizzle with olive oil.
Leave it in the fridge for a couple of hours before serving. Enjoy!

Rag dolls

Hi!

For the past few weeks I've been sewing dolls... four of them, to be more precise..
this pair are the last ones I've done, I will give them to my niece and nephew in a few days time :))
can't wait to spend 2 weeks with them, my favorite small people in the entire world!
